They sell their software to medical software companies and also to numerous health care providers. They are determined to encourage young students to pursue the software IT field. This year the essay scholarship contest topic is “How will medical software improve the future?” Each essay must include from 500-1000 words. This essay scholarship contest will give away $5,000 in medical software scholarships this year and that’s not too shabby.
In order to be eligible for one of the software scholarships in medical you must be attending an accredited U.S. college or university and be 18 years or older on the day you apply. The good part is that regardless of your major or concentration you are still welcome to apply. The deadline to apply for this scholarship for software essay contest is October 31, 2009. The Claricode Medical Software Essay Scholarships Contest will be presented on an annual basic. They will give away scholarships for software in the amount of $2500, $1500 and $1000. Five experts in the medical software field will judge the essays including the CEO of Claricode Ken Tubman IV.
The essays for the 2009 Medical Software Scholarship will be judged on specific criteria. Idea development will account for 25% of the score. Clarity of vision another 25%. Creativity will account for another 20% while Practicality accounts for yet another 20%. The remaining 10% will be based on the Grammar and Spelling. All of these criteria are chosen because it represents the skills needed to be an innovator in the field. This is a student’s opportunity to inspire with their vision of the software future.
